Below you can find links to some data bases, blogs and other resources about Central and Eastern Europe and Russia (but not only). I am trying to extend this list in the next months.

Data sets and data archives
| Carey Data Archive | data collected by John M. Carey; includes data on electoral systems and roll call votes for Europe, Russia, the US and Latin America (STATA format, many do-files included) |
| CCDP Data Archive | data from the project "Constitutional Change and Parliamentary Democracies" collected by Bergman, Torbjörn, Wolfgang C. Müller and Kaare Strøm; data is exclusively on cabinet governments in Western Europe (STATA, SPSS and EXCEL format) |
| GESIS | huge collection of links to data on Eastern Europe on the website of the Leibniz Institute for Social Sciences; includes links to Eurobarometer data (various formats; online analysis partially available) |
| World Values Survey | data from the World Values Survey; Central East European countries are at least covered in two of the five waves (STATA and SPSS format; online analysis tool available) |
| Quality of Government Institute | data sets include a huge range of variables on the quality of government and social policy (STATA and SPSS format) |
| Parties and Elections | comprehensive
database about the parliamentary elections in the European countries andautonomous subdivisions since 1945 and additional informations about the political parties, the electoral systems, the acting political leaders, the governments and the electoral laws (no files for statistical analysis available) |
